About 23 Psychiatry

We offer top notch psychiatric services from American-trained and board-certified providers. We believe in a fully integrated approach to achieve wellness.

Our Mission

The genesis of 23 Psychiatry comes from our drive to offer the most innovative therapeutic modalities for mental health and physical well-being. Our goal is to deliver sustainable gains on the genetic and cellular levels. We believe in achieving optimal health, we must uniquely intertwine gold standard therapeutic modalities with novel approaches that best match our individual fingerprints.

We integrate all the pillars of wellness, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, relationships, spirituality, and medicine. We believe in the principle that the whole is greater than one, that strength is derived from working together and in sharing achievements. We become enlightened by realizing that we are part of something greater than ourselves.

We have always long been aware of exercise as a pillar in the foundation of health. We consider exercise and the recommendation of staying active as a “traditional” medical treatment. We also understand the vast ways that exercise has grown and been refined over the past four decades and believe in taking a smart yet simplistic approach to active daily living to best incorporate exercise as a fundamental, rich life source. We believe exercise is too often a less traveled path to happiness and think active living sustains happiness in mind and body.

Another pillar of health is nutrition. We understand the challenges that have occurred over the past four decades with the emergence of processed foods and unlimited “fad diets,” both of which have left us in a more unhealthy state than we have ever been in before. Nutrition should reassure us that we are feeding our bodies healthy fuel and replenishing vital energy sources that build a healthy body and mind.

We support innovative medicine appropriately used by well-trained professionals. There has been exciting growth in new therapies such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and we can refer to experts trained in these areas. We are optimistic about newly emerging therapies that include Ketamine, MDMA, and Psilocybin and, where available, try to offer our clients these referrals as well.

We believe a purpose in life is to have healthy relationships with each other. A healthy mind and body allows us to identify and foster healthy relationships with others. The gratitude and fulfillment we experience through our bond with others is a source of energy given back to that individual who practices health and positivity.
